Time only flows forward
at the fullness of the present and
the release of the past.
Time does not move straight forward only,
but in whorls and spirals, tendrilling outward.
Equal and opposite coactions curl around each other:
a quadruple helix blooming
from the center, where time faces four dimensions
at once: within the present.
To move straight, time would have to pull from behind.
Moving forward, a suction draws in the past,
memories recalled,
patterns relived,
themes revealed.
Time will be re-known
as such an eternal, eddying flow.
