“Grace after sex” and “Place names come to mean”

“Grace after sex” is a poem from my upcoming poetry collection, Post-Catholic Midrashim, for which Finishing Line Press will be taking preorders starting next week. The poem was published in  For Women Who Roar Volume 1: LGBTQ Pride Poems (July 2019) ebook anthology (https://issuu.com/forwomenwhoroar/docs/spaces__1_).

Also published in the anthology is my poem “How place names come to mean.” Thanks, @forwomenwhoroar!

“Grace after sex” features a prayer to the condom tree, and “How place names come to mean,” is a catalog of metonyms from Stonewall to Orlando, from Pearl Harbor to Nuremberg, from Hiroshima to Fukushima.

Update: preorders are open! See https://www.finishinglinepress.com/product/post-catholic-midrashim-by-karina-lutz/
